Stride to Work

 

Why not start walking or cycling to work one or two days a week, to see how you enjoy it?

  • Limber up for the day ahead; unwind on the way home.

  • If it’s too far, you could take the bus or share transport with a colleague.

 

Employers will also see the benefits, in terms of a healthier and more productive workforce and reduced absence levels. It’s good for the company’s profile if active travel is encouraged.  We’re keen to work with employers to help find the best way to achieve this through Green Travel Plans, practical measures and evaluation of the results.

 

Healthy Working Lives is an important initiative for people at work, but sometimes management is unsure how to approach this in practice.  We can offer ideas suited to the needs of the workplace and the circumstances of individual members of staff.
