Monitoring the population of American Mink Surveying is being carried out by installing mink tunnels and rafts. Clay is placed inside to record the footprints of the wildlife that go through them so help to not only highlight present of mink but other mammals. American Mink is an invasive non-native species which threatens populations of our native species, many of which are rare.
