We hold our popular Food for Free events in spring and autumn, offering a mouthwatering range of dishes made by our volunteers from ingredients foraged along the Dighty. We held our last feast in September with the cafe at Douglas Community Centre - while they served up delicious soup, we had rowan berry, apple and blackcurrant tarts; sorrel flan; Dighty bramble Czech cake; pizza with wild flowers and wild garlic pesto. We had a crumble cook-off, gave away free salad bags from the garden and collected recipes for our own Dighty Connect Wild Food Cookbook.
